(one of them is spelling errors so hush!)
we all got stuff we regret, wish we did, wish we didnt, so whats more relateable then an entire blog posting on why we (i) suck.
1, unfulliled wishes and dreams. ever since ive learned to enjoy reading ive wanted to write a book (i mean if stephanie meyers can do it....) ive written countless 'chapter ones' but i cant carry on (mostly because i end up killing someone at the end of it. my latest attempt made me kill of the entire character list with a poisonous black fog) i love story telling so whatever but still, if your luck and play your cards right ill let you read one *wink* but seriously TELL ME IM GOOD!
4. working on a project and then realising you suck (wirtten after 3 but related to the one above) painting, drawing, writting, breathing, etc
2. failing. just in general. assignments that ive worked really hard on, that neat new thing you learned, video games, pronouncing somthing wrong because youve only ever read it or slipping back into a stereotypical accent (apparently i had one)
3. lousy humor. groan, these are some of the moments that keep me up at night. back in high school, the trend was pantsing, no one sent me the memo that it was only okay with guys wearing jeans! long story short i ended up making the most attractive girl in my class cry when i pants her on the bleachers, and wouldnt you believe my luck, her sweats caught under the bleachers and she couldnt pull them back up...she just fell back in her unflatering underwear until her friends rushed to save her.
okay now im depressed and ive got to much work to finish so....ya...
syo nara (ah whatever...i need a hug)
Welcome, welcome, welcome! Aside from the fact that this blog was made for my Interactive Marketing Class this blog will follow the inner most workings of my shallow mind. this blog will outline the inner working of my mind which will sometimes take the form of comic strips (if i feel like it) if you should find something that takes your interest, MAVEL TOV! if not...no one asked you to visit...

... To my simple pleasures
So its week 4 and i need a blog posting for each week and since my 'introductory blog post' didnt count, here we go on another mis adventure through the channels in my mind! i swear to the spagetti monster that i think of them all week but i dont bother putting it to paper(?) lets use the "i dont have bandwidth" excuse, because i dont...for another 4 DAYS minimum! (my billing cycle starts on the 6th of the month, i think)
lets face it, LIFE SUCKS! but then there are these little drops of honey that make it all worthwhile. Its a wonder how the simplest things can change your entire day. (stolen from another commercial/blog) hitting greens lights all the way home after work (im unfortunately unemployed, GIVE ME MONEY!) these are just a few (original, unstolen, selfish and personal) simple pleasures that give my life meaning;
(since ive been on campus from 8am, on a day off, and see no chance of leaving early, i cant think of a more creative way to write this other than in list form)
1. an empty house/room music blarring and dancing (i cant dance) and singing (i cant sing) to just the one song on your playlist that you havent heard in ages ("just one, i have chores to do, oh this ones great to, okay one more, i love this beat i cant stop now..." i got nothing done that day). . this also works skipping along on the street singing "were off to see the wizard" (i paused and rewatched the movie to get the little kicky thing they do perfect)
2. going crazy for no apparent reason. i was in an empty room (avoiding house guests) and finding myself fustrated and with nothing to do, i set my legs wide apart and just started flailing my limbs. no rhyme or reason, just went wild, eventually i started kicking my legs wildly (lucky i was alone or i would have knocked someones head off) it was brilliant.
3. making funny faces in the mirror. i did the walrus face in the mirror with the ear pieces on my glasses and i could not stop laughing. i always thought it was stupid when people did it on TV, i never got the humour, but let me tell you, IT WAS HILARIOUS!
4. puttting the final touches on... anything. god damn that feels good! essentially self explanitory, after working for days on end to step back and see a finished product! (i just whistled but youll never here it, MUHAHAH)
5. (just for the sake of putting it in) "the smile on peoples faces when they show their gratitude" (BLARGH too much sugar)
6. (just for the sake of putting it in, even if its evil and i dont find that much joy in it....maybe a little) seeing someone you like fail
7. (now this is just evil) seeing someone you like fail (in a good way, like face planting the side walk, admit it, your laugh before making sure they were okay)
okay ill stop now because im enjoying this too much and i need to fill in some extra blog posting haha (just kiding Erin...not really)

... To the benefits of being shortsighted!
When I first got them obviously I was crushed that my own vanity and idiocy had added an extra goofy feature to my face. Fairly unnecessary to mention that I watched too much TV for my own good but also I thought my friends coke bottle glasses made me look funny.
Now days I can’t imagine a day without these beauties perched on my face! Let’s go through the list of why people who wear glasses are so much more awesome then you shall we;
1. No matter your IQ if you wear glasses people INSTANTLY assume you're smart.
2. The hot librarian effect: where the wearer becomes attractive the moment the lenses leave their face. "Oh look little old Miss Grundy sorting books; oh she drops her glasses, BAH DOW HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW!"
3. Automatic accessory for your FACE! "Hmmm do I need to mangle my face with tattoos and piercings or makeup to make a statement...NO because I wear glasses BITCHES!" I mean that in the most respectful way.
4. People are always concerned about your eyesight, especially when you’re driving.
"It says on your licence that you need corrective lenses?"
"Yes it does, thank you for noticing!"
"Do you have them with you?
"Yup right here in my pocket!"
"You do realise you just hit a cat?"
"Yes....yes I did...."
(No cats were harmed in the making of this blog)
5. (one of my personal favorites) pretend not to notice someone as you pass them in the halls...I have pulled this move more often than I am proud of (that’s a lie IM REALLY PROUD OF IT) if I notice an acquaintance walking towards me, and I don’t feel like pretending like I know their name I pull off my glasses, hold them up to the light, and act like the lenses are the most fascinating thing in the world, and then when they get closes enough I start polishing them as if my life depended on it!
"Hey, I saw you in the hall yesterday"
"Oh hey .....You....did you really?"
"You were cleaning your glasses so you must not have seen me"
"*evil inner snicker* yam my eye sights horrible..."
6. If you wear glasses you are instantly part of the exclusive group called EVERYBODY. admit it, if you and a friend both wear glasses at some point in your lives you’ve tried each other’s glasses on and commented on how 'blind' the other person is or asked or been asked about your 'power' just for shits and giggles.
7. (Another one of my favorites) you can make funny faces with them. I stuck the earpieces into the corners of my mouth and pulled up until my front teeth were showing, I laughed hard enough to shoot yesterday’s milk out of my nose. Go ahead try it....not the milk part...the making faces part.
I’ll admit that wearing glasses has its faults, not in public, but we are pretty awesome in general. So if you’re dreading getting that first or back up pair, just remember that no matter what 'frame' YOURE AWESOME!
Alright week 4 and already behind, awesome...

anyway, just a quick little post because the ouline for my class said i needed one for LAST WEEK stay tunes for what follows, a touch of bragging, a hint of venting, a pinch of creativity and a whole lot of angst.
until then,
